About Kristin

Twenty years leading transformation.

One of them was my own.

I came to this work from two very different worlds. Everything I do comes from both.

My Story

Where I came from.

And why it matters.

I came to this work from two very different worlds. My mother showed me what real nutrition support looks like. Twenty years of leading organizational change showed me how transformation happens. My own health transformation brought those worlds together and shaped the coach I am today.

I grew up an athlete, with a mother who was a dietitian. I watched her help women make meaningful, sustainable changes to how they ate during some of the most critical moments of their lives. What stayed with me wasn't the science she brought to that work. It was how she met people where they were, learning their foods, understanding their lives, and building something that bridged the gap between what the research said and what their lives allowed.

I had every reason to go into health. Instead, I followed the path I was supposed to follow and spent the next twenty years leading transformations in corporate supply chains, building change inside complex organizations, and learning firsthand why some changes are adopted and others are not. The answer was almost always implementation, not a lack of information or intention. I spent two decades studying implementation professionally before recognizing similar patterns in myself.

My own health unraveled slowly, the way it often does. Stress, poor sleep, inconsistent eating: a body keeping score while I kept moving. I had tried the programs and knew what the research said. And still, in my own life, it wasn't working.

What finally worked was going back to fundamentals and building something sustainable around the life I had, not the one I wished I had. That experience shaped everything I do today. I went back to school, earned my nutrition and coaching credentials, and began doing for others what I had learned to do for myself, using nutrition as the foundation for building energy, consistency, and lasting change.

That's why I coach the way I do. I'm not standing outside this work looking in. I've done it, and I've done the harder things too. Choosing differently when staying the same would have been easier, repeatedly, across many areas of my life.

I know what real transformation takes, and I know what it gives back. What makes the difference, more than intention, is the right support.

What Makes This Different

The gap no one talks about is translation.

Most systems are designed to identify what's wrong. You can find ten thousand nutrition opinions before lunch. What's missing isn't information. It's translation: taking nutrition science, behavior change research, and the realities of your life and building something that works.

Not in theory. Not in ideal conditions. On a Tuesday when you're exhausted, traveling, and making decisions on the fly.

That's the work. And it's where twenty years of transformation experience, in organizations and in my own life, matters.

The KSJ Difference

A lot of coaches bring one or two of these. I bring all of them.

01

Nutrition expertise and behavior change methodology.

Most approaches give you the science or the accountability. My nutrition and wellness coaching brings both. That combination is what separates a plan that sounds good from one that works. Understanding why it works is what makes it sustainable.

02

Twenty years of transformation experience.

Before coaching, I spent more than two decades leading complex organizational change, helping teams and institutions navigate significant, lasting change under pressure. That experience shapes everything: the structure, the accountability, and the understanding of what lasting change requires in a demanding life.

03

Built for real life, not ideal conditions.

This work is designed for travel days, client dinners, hard weeks, and the seasons when everything competes for your attention. It's delivered through a consistent human relationship, not an app, not a protocol, not something you purchase and finish. Because for most people, life never fully slows down.

04

Trusted beyond the individual.

I partnered in the development, launch, and delivery of HiveHEALTH's Executive Preventive Health Solution, a program bringing personalized nutrition coaching to executives as part of a comprehensive preventive health offering. I bring that same approach to my individual clients.

What I believe

When you feel better in your body,
everything else starts to change.

When your body is nourished, your energy is stable, and your habits fit the life you're living, things start to come together. Your focus sharpens. Your decisions improve. You show up differently for yourself, in every relationship and every situation.

That's not a promise. It's what happens when the foundation is strong. And it's what this work is designed to support.

"Every step toward better health rewrites what you believe is possible."
